I help women who struggle through various phases of life. No matter the season, the common thread of healing is feeling liberated and secure within yourself so you can live an intuitively led, meaningful life, which is what I support women towards. I use a somatic approach to EMDR therapy that can be done in a weekly or intensive format for an expedited process. I hope to bring genuine compassion, humor, embodied imperfection and the occasional swearing during session.

I specialize in women's mental health and am a certified EMDR therapist . I have specialized training in perinatal mental health, complex PTSD, and sexual trauma.

As a therapist, I firmly believe that feeling safe is the cornerstone of healing. It is my hope that this space provides you with a transparent glimpse into who I am as a therapist, allowing you to determine if working with me resonates with your journey. Beyond the therapy room, I am a mother of three girls, a connoisseur of all things cozy and velvet, I am a collector of books and a Stevie Nicks lover. I hope to be a life long student, committed to intellectual and spiritual growth. I love movement through the fluid forms of dance and yoga and in 2023 I completed my first Tri for a Cure as a breast cancer survivor.

EMDR Intensive FAQs

Is this intensive format for me?

Ultimately we would decide this in a consultation conversation. However, generally intensives can be helpful for those who recently experienced a critical incident or traumatic experience and want to address the acute stress associated and be proactive in this stress progressing. Others may be addressing a more chronic sort of stress and prefer the length of time intensives gives to get into this work.

Whats the investment?

2 hour extended session: $280

Half day: 4 hours $450

Full day: 6 hours $700

Are intensives covered by insurance?

This offering is not covered by insurance plans. If you would like to use your insurance to help with a portion of the cost, we may be able to complete some of the preparation work in a few traditional therapy hours. I would discuss this individually. You can also use HSA or FSA accounts to support payment of this. Flexible payment plans are also offered and discussed on an individual basis.

What if I already have a therapist?

This a great option for people already in ongoing therapy. This means you've probably done a lot of the prep work. This would be in addition to current therapy and would be focused primarily on what you are looking to address through emdr. I also would be happy to collaborate with your current therapist.
